New Saab book; special offer

Saab is alive. There are an estimated 2012 of Dutch Saab drivers at the start of 57.000, of which 1500 cars are less than two years old, according to Saab Netherlands. According to the same source, the stock still present in the Netherlands still comprises around forty new Saabs. Our country has four Saab museums in various sizes: d'Oude Bolneus in Woerden, Saab Museum Overschild, Museum Takt2Aero in Dalfsen and the Saab Oldtimer Museum in Aalten. The Saab Club Netherlands has already been established in 1959. So don't say Saab is dead!

Ton Lohman, who has been an employee of sister magazine Automobiel for many years, has written a book about the glorious brand. After decades of independence, years of GM and eventually Victor Muller and Spyker, the characteristic Swedish brand with high passive safety is (for the time being?) A thing of the past. This book looks back in a nutshell on more than six decades of Saab, in which the Swedes built more than four million cars. From the first 92 in 1947 to the last 9 series in 2011.
