harley davidson topperHarley-Davidson is directly associated by many with the army-green Liberator with which the Americans came to liberate our country in 1944, the black and white machines where the American police are driving around, the heavily modified 'bicycles' from the successful scroll print 'Easy Rider', the toys of the Hell's Angels, the beautiful chromed monsters that you occasionally pass by on the highway, but that Harley-Davidson scooter once existed, nobody knows that (anymore). The introduction took place in 1960. The single-cylinder, 165 cm3 tweet stroke with automatic transmission and front and rear tiny brake drums should compete against Vespa and Lambretta competition. It will not surprise you, despite a sale of 3.801 copies in that first year, it was not a success. Production stopped in 1965.
