Purchasing classics there

In the old days there were 'trains' on French plots. Such a train consisted of a whole row of 'deceased' cars that had been parked head to butt somewhere in the yard over time.

We once saw a just after the war TA at the head of about twelve cars, of which the latter was a Simca 1501.

In the context of the European Cleaning, the Environment and some of that kind of tinkering, that piece of folklore has largely come to an end.

But fortunately the French national character is stronger than the Euro regulations.

At the town of Hardinghen, in Pas de Calais, in the north of France where they once spoke Flemish, we still found a train of old cars.

Only the oldest was no longer just after the war, but he came from the early 1980s.

Endearing.
