No less than 20 authentic old-timer trucks and trailers are offered and auctioned by the renowned Veilinghuis Troostwijk.
Striking lots are the Volvo truck (year of construction 1955) with milk cans on the loading platform and the Scania crane truck (year of construction 1953). In addition to the trucks, 4 classic cars are also auctioned, including a Mercedes 180 from 1960 and a Morris Minor from 1968. All vehicles are from a private collection. The collection is offered by Troostwijk Auctions via auction.
Frank Adam, auctioneer at Troostwijk Auctions: “I have been doing this work for a number of years and I come across a number of gems a few times a year. This is another one. Take a Kenworth Truck that was imported from the US by the owner (starting amount for the 24.500 euro auction) or the classic, the Volvo, with the 1955 year of construction with milk cans on the loading platform that was still used by the transport company of the father of the client. We put this Volvo in the auction for a starting amount of 22,5 thousand euros. "
He continues: “What we see is that such auctions attract a striking amount of attention from abroad. A number of lots are already being followed by interested parties from Taiwan, Serbia, Hungary, Germany, Belgium, France, Slovenia and the Czech Republic. "
