Copper fat is a panacea for some people.
But then it is a panacea with a very limited lubricating effect.
It is therefore made to prevent 'eating'. Not for lubrication. Therefore, do not use it when mounting valve stems. And preferably not for spark plugs.
"Ceramic paste" is the copper fat 2.0. Available in specialist dealers. Think of your local automotive equipment specialist and companies such as Rustbuster and the like.
Temperature resistant from -40 C to + 1400 C
Prevents rusting of threaded connections
Enables optimal tightening of threaded connections and precise determination of tightening torque
Prevents electrolytic corrosion (for example, between aluminum and steel)
Prevents burning, jamming and eating
Does not attack rubber
Resistant to (salt) water and steam
The stuff is easily processed with a brush in the cap.
But read the instructions and warning on the package! The stuff is vicious in terms of health.
That is why it works so well of course!
