Purchasing classics there

Subscribers with a benevolent postal worker already have it on the bus today, if you buy it in the store, you have to wait a little longer. The new issue, August 2014, will be available in stores from Tuesday. And we have again done our best to create a beautiful, varied song with something for every classic fan.

Besides our very extensive section with short messages - with undiscovered classics, barn finds, event announcements, tips and the monthly columns - you will of course find a page or 40 small advertisements of vintage cars for sale at the end.

Between the short messages and the vintage cars for sale, yes ... the stories. In addition, the striker is set off by the fixed headings, such as the Editorial Drive, Bob's Book Corner, Facebook photo competition (this month's selfies with a classic) and the pictures from the old box. Then come the engine stories, Dolf looks at a Laverda 750 SF, what about the parts, the prices and above all how does such a powerful Italian ride. The Panther KS 175S is a completely different story, as Marina Block confirms in the title 'No predator cat, but a good fool'. So how different than the Laverda above.

Speaking of powerful Italians, the cover story is a Lamborghini Countach 5000 qv. A wild, ferocious, rugged sports car where the average Ferrari comes across as a simple shopping car. But before we switch to this - of course a bright red - dream car, we first have a look under the hood of a Saab Turbo and show the reader Okke Groot what classics and youngtimers are driving around in Tunisia.

At least as much fun and adrenaline excites the Myers Manx, the primal buggy. Although owner Gert van Braak is very careful with it, he is completely free for the photos for this one time. With the rubber through the blubber so…

It is much more civilized with the SS Jaguar 2.5 from Frank Ruppert. The stately car comes from South Africa and has been restored to perfection with great love and craftsmanship.

But just as special is the Lancia, which was taken over by the Swiss company Felber and transformed into what is now there ... a Felber Lancia FF V. Aart van der Haagen visited enthusiast and dealer Martin Willems for this. Of course…

The Ford Mustang has been around for half a century this year. All over the world, but also in the Netherlands, this is massively celebrated. We make our modest contribution to this party with a report on a super-beautiful red Ford Mustang Fastback that has been in the works of classic enthusiast Melle Witzenburg for a quarter of a century.

The readers' letters and the small advertisements close this AMK. You can find more detailed information via amklassiek.nl/magazine/dezemaand/. There is also how you can get hold of this number if you do not want to go to the store and have no subscription.
